Trainers Read about the Trainers at Puppylove now and their quest for continuing education :

Picture on left: Angela with her dog, Labby, a labrador retriever. Angela started voluntary work with dogs at the local SPCA in 2002. After which she joined Puppylove in 2003 and started learning about dog training for the next few years, gradually going on to conducting lessons. She continued to accumulate experience on teaching and is now doing full time training and consultations. She is currently taking courses with the accredited United Kingdom-based Animal Care College on Canine Psychology and she is also a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), a professional organization of individual dog trainers who are committed to becoming better trainers through education. She has just graduated in September 2008 with honours and earned a Certificate in Training and Counselling from the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers in the United States, which has gained the reputation as ´The Harvard of Dog Training Schools´. Jean Donaldson, a world-renowned expert in the dog training community led this course and shared her wealth of experience. She recently passed the Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) Test in April 2009 and is now one of the few trainers in Singapore who are certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers in the USA. She has a labrador retriever named Labby who was rescued from the local SPCA. She also has a degree in architecture and worked as a game designer upon graduation for two years. Picture on left: Kenny with his border collie, Bailey. Kenny is currently instructing lessons on weekends having joined Puppylove in 2003. He also started accumulating experience by volunteering in the local SPCA initially and is still helping them by giving talks several times to audiences including the Singapore Police Force. He is also working with the SPCA for talks given to condominiums on responsible pet ownership and at times help to mediate pet ownership issues that some residents face. He is starting courses with the United Kingdom-based Animal Care College on Canine Psychology and also constantly updates himself with the latest training methods. He recently passed the Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) Test in April 2009 and is now one of the few trainers in Singapore who are certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers in the USA. He is also a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). He adopted his current border collie, Bailey, 4 years ago and is currently juggling dog training with his banking job after graduating with a degree in science, majoring in economics and finance.
