Our Methods
Puppylove uses positive motivational techniques that are widely practiced in North America and Europe. This is a non-violent method that focuses on telling the dog what is the right thing to do, rather than constantly correcting it for doing the wrong things.
In short, NO harsh correction, NO compulsion, NO jerks and NO physical punishment is used.
It is the accepted and preferred approach adopted by many internationally renowned dog obedience instructors and animal behaviourists.
The principles of operant conditioning and positive reinforcement (+R), which motivational methods are based on, have been around since the 1930s, but is not widely practised in this part of the world.
Puppylove's methodology conforms to the latest "Professional Standards for Dog Trainers" issued by the Delta Society and strictly adhere to the criteria set out out by the Association of Pet Dog trainers in the United States in "How to choose a Trainer".
