Class Description
Want to teach your dog all kinds of neat tricks for endless hours of interactive fun, not to mention the chance to blow away houseguests with your dog's impressive repertoire of tricks?
Here's a unique opportunity for you to discover another 100% Dog Friendly way to shape your dog's behaviour by using a simple but powerful tool known as a "clicker". Understand the principles of this technology and learn how to apply it. If chickens, fish and dolphins can do it, so can your dog.
Course outline:
- Introduction to clicker
- Go touch (Targeting exercise)
- Go sleep (Shaping exercise)
- Go jump (Shaping exercise)
- Think-Plan-Do
- Show & Tell
Clickers will be given out during classes and lessons will be accompanied by full set of notes and handouts for easy referral at home.
