Class Description

This package offers dog owners a quick start in getting their dogs to understand basic vocabulary like Sit, Down and Stay using hand signals. Emphasis is placed on preventing and dealing with common behaviour problems like Toilet Training, Chewing and Mouthing. Ideal for puppies 2-4 months old. Each group session is limited to 6 dogs to ensure adequate personal attention, while balancing the need for dogs to be socialised with both dogs and strangers.

The course is structured to coach handlers on the correct techniques necessary to effectively communicate with their dogs, as well as provide valuable information on nutrition, health and grooming. At the end of the 4 sessions, owners will be able to understand how their puppies think as well as confidently handle their dogs without choke-chains, physical punishment, compulsion nor harsh correction.

Students will learn about dog handling, tackling puppy problems, basic grooming, hygiene, nutrition and simple commands.
